Patong where the holiday never ends

At the heart of the nightlife in Phuket is the country’s Patong Beach, which attracts many tourists each year and is known for some good shopping bargains and a vibrant nightlife that maintains to keep the momentum going all through out the year.

It was only during the 80’s that Europeans began to explore this part of Phuket and since then many large restaurants  and malls sporting big names, have begun to appear in the area. The area runs a 2km beach stretch that is absolutely beautiful and is the perfect destination for a beach holiday. However, those who arrive in Patong will soon discover that its nightlife is perhaps more popular than its sandy shores.

To sample the nightlife in Patong travelers could make their way to either Bangla Road or another place called the Paradise complex. The numerous restaurants to be found in Patong serve up just about any cuisine one would come across anywhere. The best aspect of it all is that each outlet is within walking distance of one another, so in one night travelers could expect to treat their palettes to many gourmet cuisines. The range extends from Thai to Mexican to even Turkish eateries.

Leaving aside the restaurants, if travelers which to sample the traditional Thai noodles or rice one could do so for prices that are quite affordable. Aside from this, the customary fast food chains such as Pizza Hut, Burger King and even McDonalds could be found in Patong.

With the setting of the sun, Patong changes its scenery and ambiance, with the many bars churning out their refreshments and music to attract beach goers who are looking to have a wonderful time.

Places like Club Lime in Patong offer travelers a three in one venue. The club triples actually, as a bar, restaurant and a nightclub as well. Sporting plush sofas which are large and from a distance its neon green lighting is hard to miss. Another big attraction to the club is the open air seating that it offers as well as its reputation for hosting popular DJ’s from around the world. And that’s not all the sound system is claimed to be the best in town.

When scouting for a Phuket hotel to stay at while in Patong, one such as the five star resort like the Millennium Resort Patong Phuket, would be a good choice. The hotel is set amidst tropical landscaping that is right in the heart of Patong beach, and offers rooms towards the lakeside or the beachside.
