Streets Beach in Brisbane City

Don't miss the only beach in the middle of the city which falls in the middle of Brisbane and is known as the Streets Beach. Located on the bustling South Bank it is a man-made beach which offers the opportunity to swim while looking out on to the central business district and river in Brisbane.

One of the most spectacular places to visit is the South Bank in Brisbane. It has a thriving arts and crafts market which provides the ideal opportunity to purchase unique handcrafted souvenirs and gift items.

There are lively and colorful stalls which cover the expanse of the Stanley Street Plaza. From exotic jewelry and accessories to local handicrafts and artwork you can find a variety of items to choose for yourself or family and friends back home. On Sundays the South Bank arts and craft market opens up a little earlier for the early birds to enjoy a gourmet breakfast at 9 AM and lounge around until 5 PM.
