How would I go about setting up a kindergarten library center with a beach theme?

I noticed that I have a ton of floats and balls, a small plastic swimming pool, pails and soft plush sea animals so I decided to make my literacy center with a sea-life theme. Can someone list some more items to place in this center that make it inviting and calm?

perhaps a 5' blow up palm tree? I know they have them at a store around here called "gags 'n gifts"

Ummm... maybe get some sandy colored material and set it around to act as 'sand'...

umm.. you could put u p blue and white streamers to give it a 'clouds and sky' theme... in the ceiling...

Perhaps beforehand, get some kids to draw pictures of what they think beaches or sea animals look like.. and tape them around the room..

maybe a foam surfboard? a real one might get tipped over and hurt someone..

also you could have the kids maybe bring in their swimsuits and maybe wear them? that might be a little too much for kindergarteners..
